I can say I'm In Lurve ♥

So I'm in love, great. Hehe. I'm in love with the most gorgeous guy on the face of the planet!

He's in the States though, and he's been there for almost 3 months now. We've been together for 9 months, and I hope and pray that it'll last forever. c:

He's so sweet and thoughtful, so caring, and that makes him so loveable. I can go on and on til I have no more space left to write on. Hehe. Even though he's been away for like, forever, we always find time to communicate. Well, it's a must really. For example, yesterday, we almost talked the whole day. For the first time in weeks, I've seen him again, live and in action (hahaha) on webcam. As usual, he's as cute as ever, grew a bit chubby and has longer hair this time, and that makes him look younger. Really c:

Of all the guys I've known and talked to, he's one hell of a unique one. Unique in the sense that he's very comfortable to talk to. You don't have to be pretentious or anything, you don't need to give your best shot, cause he'll appreciate you by just the way you are. By the way, he's kinda suplado when you first see him, but he's a real charmer. ;P

He's the boyfriend material every girl needs - he'll give you so much respect, so much care and understanding of a big brother, so much sweetness that you'll melt, so much affection and passion in every kiss, so much fun and laughter when you're together, and so much love like no one else can give you, that you want to hold on to him for eternity.

I just want to let him know that I'll always be here. I'll never leave him amidst the petty fights, the age gap and long distance. I would never ever leave him, so long as he wants me and doesn't need me anymore. But I would forever love him.

I wish my aunt would really like him, as in super.

I wish that he'd leave and work abroad after my graduation, so that he'll be my grad ball date and he'll see me walk up the stage. Hehe.

I wish, and pray, that we'll have the longest relationship ever, that we'll be married when the right time comes, and have a wonderful loving family ♥

SONA 2008 gov't targets on track

MONDAY, JULY 21, 2008 | GOVERNMENT MANAGEMENT

Dagupan City -- After hearing the state of the province, city and municipal addresses by elected local officials, Pangasinenses now look forward to listening to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's State-of-the-Nation Address or SONA. Scheduled on the 28th of July in time with the opening of Congress, the SONA 2008 will revolve on investments made, investments being made and investments to be made by the government to ensure long term development for the nation.

With prices of oil and goods soaring, a milestone in Philippine governance was achieved in the health sector when President Arroyo urged Congress to step up the passage of the Cheaper Medicines Bill. Republic Act 9502 or the Cheaper Medicines Law was signed by the President on June 6, 2008.

Education, as one of the major keys to escape poverty, was well invested in by the present administration. A total of 53,026 teaching positions were created form 2002-2007 and 563,906 students were granted scholarships. The government allocated P1 billion to TESDA for its PGMA Training for Work Scholarship program in 2007 which produced 96,809 graduates For college students, a P4 billion fund for college loans was launched to increase beneficiaries from 40,000 to 200,000. "We are investing P3 billion in science and engineering research and development technology, including scholarships for masters and doctoral degree programs in engineering in seven universities," the President said.

An emergency employment program was also launched by the government which gives gainful employment to out-of-school and out-of-work youth every year. Another breakthrough in agriculture was achieved with the launching of the mariculture project or "palaisdaan sa dagat" in Tawi-Tawi on May 29, 2008. The project covers 1,000 hectares in Sibulu East and 25,000 hectares in North Lagoon, Sitangkal Agrarian reform will also be reformed so it can transform beneficiaries into agribusiness men and women. At present, 19 agribusiness venture agreements were forged involving 19,083 hectares benefiting 13,824 agrarian reform beneficiaries.

Investments in the transportation sector was also seen with the completion and opening of Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 which is set to operate within the year. President Arroyo's flight was the first to land at the terminal on her return trip from the United States last June 30,2008. Although critics of the Arroyo administration make it a habit to criticize every decision of the present government, the President is keen on adopting measures that will benefit the majority of Filipinos especially the poorest of the poor. With good investments and public cooperation, Filipinos can be sure that government targets are on track and prosperity for the nation is not far behind. (PIA-Pangasinan)

---So do you think I care? I've heard enough negative stories about GMA to not believe so much in her. When her term came, I think, our country has suffered more. There has been rallies every now and then, coup, the ZTE case, and of course the ultimate problem nowadays is the increasing of the oil prices.

---Every year, President Arroyo gives her State of the Nation Address that tells of her administration's accomplishments and goals. As I remember last year, she told about the increase in employment (the only employment I know which has improved a lot since last year was the Call Center business), and the building of the new LRT linking SM North to San Jose del Monte, Bulacan (which she said would be finished by around next year or 2010). I never really watch her SONA's so I don't remember so much. She has many dreams/goals for our country, but I think she should first start in improving herself.

---I've heard about the pork barrel issue, that most of the money are allotted to her children, or close constituents. I'm not really sure, but I understand it that way. So that's where our taxes go to, not in those projects that she ought to have done, like the fixing of the roads, adding more schools, adding more budget to Education. That way, many people would grow up to be literate, and have more jobs and better understand our situation. Because of the difficult times, more and more people, especially those newly grads, are going abroad to seek more opportunities because they believe that all their skills would be put to waste if they work here (low pay and compensation, oil prices are getting higher by day.) But hey more OFW's, more remittances. Kiddin.

---We call it "brain drain", and that's because more Filipinos think that they're better off somewhere else, first because of the rising poverty, the difficult life in our country (money, job, oil prices) and second because they know that whatever happens, our government would never change. We've gone through a number of Edsa Revolutions, but still when one issue has been through, everything would go back to the way it were. No matter how many presidents would take the seat, it would all be the same.

---So now, do you think I still care? I'd have to say no for the meantime. There's still hope, I know. I just think it's a bit hard being optimistic, with all these stuff going on, not just in the government, but with our country. It has been a cycle, and for now, I'm one of those who believe that their future can be found abroad.

Another Wednesday, another day of 8 hours of classes, 3 hours of which is our break. Everyday's the same - school, house, school. Although there's so many things to do, I mean for school. There's thesis going on, AV comm report next Wednesday, and Film! Waahh shooting and editing AGAIN! And then he's going back, this Sunday ü YEEEEEY!

Well anyway, last July 20th, my high school friends and I had this thing. Well sort of a gathering/lunch/movie thing. We had lunch, and then movie at Trinoma with Kaydee and KC.

We watched Dark Night, and was deeply saddened by the death of Heath Ledger. He really captured the character of joker, and I was a bit frightened of him while watching the movie. And he's so cute, minus the joker make up. And, he's the same age as Kuya ü Teehee.

Well anyway..... I have class in 30 minutes, so I guess I better wrap this up. I'll be reading my emailed materials for the hosting on Radio Veritas this coming Saturday, and reserve the LMC Lecture Room and all those things. Hayy.. here we go again. Har har.

Just Turned 20 :)

Twas my birthday yesterday.. Happy Birthday to meeeeeeeee!!! The first half of yesterday wasn't really as I expected. So we had our first class at 10:30, but my friend Marianne was absent, and Chalet went back to her dorm immediately after class. And I thought we were supposed to have lunch or something. So I was with Kath and Ai (my two other friends), and we just sat in the kubo for like an hour or so. I was about to leave at 1 o'clock, but then my phone rang and he called ♥

He called the night before and said he wouldn't call again, but then he did! Awww ü So anyway, long distance calls are expensive and we agreed to just chat when I arrive home. I was about to go, when Kath and Ai told me that we should go to our friend's dorm because of some school work. At first I was hesitant, because there was no progress report or whatsoever like Kath and Ai said and mainly because of him, and we're supposed to be online at about 2:00. But I went anyway.

When we arrived at Chalet's dorm, there they were, Chalet and Marianne, with KFC bucket, coke, mashed potatoes and Celo's donuts.

So I greatly dedicate this blog to them, my friends Chalet Queano, Marianne Averilla, Kathrina Rodulfo and Aileen Artificio. And of course to Roman de Vera teehee ü


We ate everyyyyything! All along I thought they forgot, and I would just be going home early doing nothing. But I was very surprised and touched because of what they did :) They let me take home the other box of donuts and then I went home at about 2:30. I was on the road for almost 45 minutes. From that time til 7pm, we just chatted, and by the end of the day I was so happy.

Every night before I go to sleep, I watch one of my favorite shows, Dalja's Spring in GMA 7. I have this new crush, his name is Lee Min Ki and he's so cute! He plays the 27 year old love interest of Dalja in the show, but in real life he's only 23. Hehe. I didn't slept easily last night, because I had so much in mind and so much to thank for. I'm now 20 years old, and as Britney's song said, "I'm not a girl, not yet a woman". I'm graduating next March and I still don't know what do to after. But as each day pass, I learn not to look so much into the future, but live slowly, taking pleasure in each moment, every day. ü
